Drew Barrymore has started work on her latest project, Going the Distance, co-starring real-life love interest Justin Long (AKA The Guy from the Mac Ads). This rom-com deals with a couple who decide to pursue a long distance relationship after a chance meeting in a bar, and industry insiders say the script is very funny - in a The Breakup kind of way. If nothing else, casting Drew opposite her bf is a pretty clever casting move.

Robert Pattinson was looking particularly dashing on the set of Remember Me in New York City this morning. The Twilight hottie dashed from his trailer to the set wearing a black suit and tie and Ray Bans, and carrying a can of Coke. Very Reservoir Dogs.

You'd think with all of his international photo-calls, crazy outfits and outrageous behavior to promote Bruno, that Sacha Baron-Cohen would be used to a little bit of media attention by now... But no. The British funnyman didn't seem to want to have his picture taken last night in New York, even though he was wearing boring old jeans, a leather jacket and a baseball cap (not bright red leather liederhosen!) Go figure!!

While Kate is back home in rural Pennsylvania looking after the kids, Jon Gosselin paraded his new girlfriend around the South of France this weekend. Jon and 22-year-old Hailey Glassman - who's the daughter of Kate's tummy-tuck plastic surgeon - hung out with designer Christian Audigier on his yacht in St Tropez. They were casually holding hands and sharing private jokes. Word has it that Jon was striking some kind of endorsement deal with Audigier, possibly involving Hailey too! Looks like he's found himself another (business) partner in record time!

George Clooney made an appearance in L'Aquila, Italy, yesterday to lend his support to the rebuilding efforts there (the town was hit hard in the earthquake in April.) George, who has a home in Lake Como in northern Italy, is visiting the country to participate in the G8 summit currenly being held in Rome.
