Kate Middleton’s Fashion Influence Grows

British fashion designers Temperely, Mulberry, and Burberry are just three of the brands that have benefitted from the celebrity fashion style of Kate Middleton, who is to marry Prince William in April. Since her profile has risen so sharply as her relationship with the prince deepened, she has developed a much-imitated style that features fitted dresses, jackets with nipped-in waists, and timeless accessories like classic riding boots.

She has also shown a great eye for mixing “high-low” – pairing designer pieces with less expensive pieces from popular stores like TopShop. Various items that Kate has worn have sold out quickly after pictures emerge. For example, a wool Burberry Trench, a black velvet Libelula coat, and a sapphire colored Issa dress all sold out quickly after Kate was photographed wearing them.
